We finally left FL.  We were supposed to be in Milton for four days.  We ended up staying for almost a month due to doctor and vet appointments.  The good news is that the visits were all good news, except for Freckles who had to have a tooth removed.  Right before we left, we found a local fruit and vegetable stand.  They had ripe picked peaches and tomatoes.  We bought both.  The peaches had to be eaten quickly as they were very ripe and juicy.

From Milton, FL we headed to Vicksburg.  We are staying at River Town Campground.  I was concerned about flooding but the campground is on high ground so no problem.

We saw a lot of roadside watermelon stands on our drive so we had to find one here.  We bought a watermelon, which is very good, but not worth the $12.00 we had to pay for it.

Friday, we toured the Vicksburg battle ground.  Seeing it gave me a much better understanding of how hard the battle was Below are some pictures I took at the battle ground.  We also saw the remains of the USS Cairo which was sunk during the battle when it hit a mine, then referred to as torpedoes.  No lives were lost tin the sinking.

Today we are supposed to have high winds.  When we tried to put the main awning in it would not move.  I changed the fuse, but no help.  I think the motor is shot.  Hopefully, we will have a repair person out this afternoon.

From here, we will go to LA to have some work done on the coach, then off to Kansas so Becky can visit with her dad and sister.
